Our Beginner Academy introduces athletes in Preschool through 8th grade to the fundamentals of lacrosse in a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate environment. Players develop fundamental skills, lacrosse IQ, coordination, confidence, and a love for the game while building a strong foundation for future success.
What Athletes Will Learn
Fundamental lacrosse skills including cradling, passing, catching, scooping, shooting, dodging, defending, and ground balls
Lacrosse IQ, including spacing, positioning, offensive and defensive concepts, transitions, and game awareness
Athletic development through agility, coordination, balance, speed, and body control
Teamwork, communication, leadership, and sportsmanship
Confidence through consistent coaching, purposeful repetition, and positive reinforcement
Our Coaching Philosophy
We believe athletes learn best by playing the game. Every practice is designed to maximize touches on the ball, minimize time spent standing in lines, and provide meaningful repetitions through competitive drills and small-sided games.
Our coaches create an environment where players are encouraged to ask questions, challenge themselves, and celebrate improvement. Success is measured not only by skill development but also by increased confidence, stronger decision-making, and a greater love for the game.

Our Boys Beginner Lacrosse program introduces middle school athletes to the fundamentals of the game, building essential skills, confidence, and a strong foundation for future play.
